State-of-the-art recording technology with H.264 compression, real-time recording and VGA connection at an unbeatable price. With simple mouse operation, the 4-channel compact digital recorder (DVR) is an ideal entry level device for the world of digital video surveillance. The compact size (only 31.5 x 4.5 x 21.0 cm) means it is ideal for use in areas with limited space, such as underneath a counter – and is also flat enough so that a monitor can be placed on top.
Using the DVR, images from up to four cameras can be saved and archived on a SATA hard disk drive (max. 2 TB). Setting up the camera is child’s play – simply connect the cameras and monitor and you are done. The DVR records images from each camera in CIF resolution (352 x 288 pixels) and in real time. Thanks to the highly-efficient H.264 compression, video images are saved in optimal quality, take up little storage capacity and are optimally suited for network access.
Depending on requirements, recording is started manually, according to a schedule, using a motion detector or following an alarm (four alarm inputs available). Data is exported quickly over the two integrated USB interfaces. The live view, playback and data export can be carried out simultaneously (Triplex operation). An RS-485 interface also allows the control of pan/tilt cameras (PTZ). The supplied remote control means the DVR is operated easily in the same way as a normal DVD player. If required, a spot monitor can be connected that shows the relevant camera images in full-screen mode in the event of an alarm or motion detection.
Modern network technology allows global access to image data via LAN and over the Internet. With an Ethernet connection, H.264 compression and the support of dynamic DNS addresses (DynDNS), the compact DVR recorder is the ideal platform for integrating up to four analogue cameras in a digital network –you can also access your surveillance data externally without any problems using DynDNS.
